Warehousing; the systems, the infrastructure, the capacity, the operation, the location(s), and the Customs authorisations, all play a key role in any global supply-chain. Customs authorisations alone provide a major benefit in enabling the movement of goods across borders and into different Customs areas without financial penalisation, with much needed cost and cashflow benefits. This is vital when trying to match available stock with demand, which is particularly important when dealing with seasonal stock. Increased global instabilities, causing significant shipping delays of new bulk stock, has made the movement of existing stocks available within neighbouring markets all the more important.
